The Management of the college is very much conscious of the fact that Dr. Zakir Hussain Teachers' Training College, Laheriasarai, should be a model institution in the national context which may bloom into one of the best centres of vocational education of the country and thus a symbol of a glory for the Mithila Region.
We are very much grateful to the Almighty that Dr. Zakir Hussain Teachers' Training College, Laheriasarai, has been growing from heights to heights in the field of Education and symbolizes a name worth belonging too.
The Management of the college gives aid to the needy students to the tune of Rs. 50,000/- yearly on Merit cum Poverty basis.
To give impetus to the students for proper study and brilliant results, the management has introduced Dr. A.R. Kidwai gold medal for the topper of the college in the University Examination.
The Board of Trustees of Shafi Muslim High School, the parent body of the college, has introduced lecture series on the subject, Le. "Islamic concept of Education", in the college for a better understanding of the concept of Education itself by the trainees of this college. It is not a prescribed subject, but rather an invaluable opportunity for the trainees for enriching their store of knowledge. Eminent scholars on the subject are invited to deliver lectures under the lecture series. Co-scholestic Activities are held regularly according to the Academic Calendar for the benefit of the student. The Management gives sufficient grant to conduct all these activities in the college.
